Spring is in the air, and the thought that everything is coming to life warms me. Whereas in winter I prefer the comfort of being indoors, when Spring begins, like the flowers, I too seek the sunshine.
Greenwich village is one of my favourite places in London. The town centre is always buzzing with activity, but it’s never as suffocating as parts of central London. In addition to the Thames riverside with its views of Canary Wharf on the opposite bank, there’s the Greenwich Maritime museum which boasts an impressive park that extends behind it. The marketplace in Greenwich Village is filled with the deliciously intoxicating aroma of cuisines from the little food stalls. And if you’re in the mood for a cheeky shop, there’s plenty of little boutiques and stalls to satisfy your shopping lust. If you do ever visit Greenwich Village, make sure you go see the Royal Navy Academy. The architecture there is superb. I don’t think I’ll ever tire of it.
On this days visit, I opted for a blush and black ensemble. To complement the look, I went for minimalist heels and a bracelet, together with a red lip and romantic updo. The weather in the UK is not quite there yet in terms of warmth so I had to cover up with this coat and scarf, which I think complemented the outfit perfectly.
I hope you’re enjoying the Spring as much as I am.
